Demonhunt

At beginning of summer 2016 I joined a team at Jyväskylän Game Lab called Ten Times Over. We started to work on project that is now called Demon Hunt. When I joined the team they had been working on 2D multiplayer platformer. Game was at messy state so it was my job to make sense of unity's multiplayer. We decided to start over since the team's previous programmer was no longer in the team. It seemed easier than to stitch together from previous code-base.

Plan? What plan?

Game design has now changed few times between now and then, and now we are working till winter holidays on a local multiplayer "screen runner". One player plays the demon who sets traps for the heroes. After short time the heroes have to start running from left to right with a deadly wall following them all the way to the other end.
